Golf Tournaments

We want to thank our customers, employees, and friends for making last Friday’s golf tournament a success! We could not have done it without you or the help of Huntsville Country Club. This year’s proceeds will be going Semper Fi Community Task Force and the Night Stalker Association.

The Semper Fi Community Task Force’s mission is “to lend support to meet existing and emerging needs of the local community through volunteering time and talent. Their focus is the Tennessee Valley community, military veterans of all Services, and their families. They honor and support citizens who protect our country.” Today, the Semper Fi Community Task Force (SFCTF) has grown into a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization composed of dedicated representatives from all services, their families, and community friends. SFCTF members apply the core values of courage, honor, and commitment practiced during their military service into their community through volunteerism. SFCTF members give back to the community through a long list of endeavors which includes, but is not limited to: tornado/ disaster recovery, youth mentoring, support to JROTC and Young Marines programs, family readiness support to local reserve units, limited financial aid, job placement for veterans including resume writing and distribution, and in certain cases, veteran home repairs.Their members also donate their time and talents to other service organizations such as local churches, civic organizations, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the United Way.

The Night Stalker Association’s mission is “to preserve the memories and comradeship kindled by the mutual experience of service with the 160th SOAR (A); To render assistance to worthy members, their surviving spouses, and families by means of college grants, loans, special financial assistance, camaraderie, and personal guidance; To provide for the collecting and dissemination of information concerning the organization and its members in local and national reunions; To provide for the patriotic assembly of its members in local and national reunions; To perpetuate the “Night Stalkers Don’t Quit” spirit and tradition for future generations!” The courageous response of the Army’s only Special Operations Aviation unit has successfully deterred aggressive and provocative threats by those who seek to harm our country, bolstered national morale and prestige, and supported national foreign policy goals. Today, as in the past, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) continues to take the fight to the enemy and is constantly ready for the next mission, anytime, anywhere, and is poised to arrive time on target plus or minus 30 seconds.

We can’t thank you enough for your continued support. If you didn’t get a chance to play this year, we look forward to seeing at the next one!
